BMW to Recall 1 Million Vehicles
BMW recently announced that they’re recalling roughly 1 million cars in North America because of 2 different problems about fire threats. And this might likely extend to other countries as well. One of the recalls include 670K ’06-’11 US 3-Series vehicles to tackle a wiring problem for heating and AC systems that may overheat and possibly increase fire risk. The next recall is for 740K ‘07-’11 cars using a valve heater that could rust and cause fire in rare events. This covers some 128i vehicles, 3-Series, 5-Series and X3, X5 and Z4 vehicles. Michael Rebstock, BMW spokesman, said they’re still investigating whether or not they need to expand this recall in the future to include other countries.
