FCA Recall Alert: New Dodges and Jeeps
If you're an owner or a driver of 2019 Jeep Cherokees, 2018 Dodge Journeys, 2018-2019 Dodge Grand Caravans and 2018-2019 Jeep Compasses, listen up! FCA is recalling roughly 210,000 vehicles in America and all over for a probable braking problem. This recall is quite less complex because about 1/3rd of the affected rides are very new. Some of which are still on dealer lots, making it easier to tally up and fix. Seems like a brake system part didn't pass FCA specs. As per NHTSA, the rear brake caliper pistons were not coated enough and might create gas pockets in the brake fluid of very new cars. This consequently can decrease rear brake performance.
