Introducing Amazon's Echo Auto
Amazon recently launched a new in-car gadget called Echo Auto, which is basically an Alexa for your car. It sits still on your dashboard and lets you to link your phone through Bluetooth. Your phone's cell signal will let Echo Auto to connect with Amazon's cloud service, thus, allowing that feature to your vehicle. It can be integrated with Apple Maps and Waze, letting directions to be sent to your mobile phone. If you ask Alexa to look for a place it knows, it'll give you navigation and details about it. Its location knowledge is pretty remarkable. It can derive if you're at home, then open your door and switch on your house's lights if you have a smart door and smart lights linked to it. Available for $50 when it goes on sale or $25 if your purchase now at its special “invite price.”
