New Mazda SUV for US Boost
About 4 years ago, Masamichi Kogai, Mazda’s CEO, forecasted that by now they’d be making annual sales of 400K vehicles in the US. Unfortunately, they’re on its 2nd year of decline—with below 300K. Kogai now declares the US regain shall start earnestly in 2019 and in full force come 2021 as Mazda includes a brand new crossover meant for made solely in America. Kogai also believes it is likely going to be their best-seller. The said SUV shall be manufactured beginning in 2021 at the facility both Mazda and Toyota plan to build together in the US. This crossover is going to be entirely new and unique and the automaker’s R&D is actually now coordinating with its US ops to ensure that.
